      Filling holes before Lizard Skin

I have a few gallons of Lizard Skin headed my way. Thought this would be a good time to fill the unused holes in the firewall from years of self tapping screws, and factory holes that are no longer used. Is there a hardening putty that would work well for this? Something I could sand smooth before spraying the Lizard Skin. I don't have the ability to weld them shut.

I figure the texture of the Lizard Skin would cover a budget friendly hole filling job.
