      first classic truck project

      Hi guys and gals
I recently picked up my first classic truck project. 1957 Chevy 3100 small window. I bought with a sbc full of rat ****. So first thing I did was ripped out the junk motor. With the agreement for the truck I got a 350 sbc included with the truck but I had to yank it out of a 63 Chevy dump truck. So the motor I pulled hasn't ran in over 5 years so I put it up on the engine stand and tore it down it had a 2 barrel carb on it which I scrapped no need for it, upon opening the motor up was beyond clean on the inside. Currently waiting for my new fuel pump and water pump to arrive by fedex. In the mean time I prepped the engine bay sanded everything down and got it into primer and paint. Sprayed a beautiful black eventually wanna spray the whole truck black but this a budget build piece by piece.

Looks like a cool project. Would be easier to follow if the pictures were rotated 90*s.
