      67ss nova phase 2 build

I think that it is about time to start what I consider phase 2 of my 67's life, I started building this car when I was 12 and am now 29 and have had it on the road for quite a few years now.

The car started as a basket case, to the extent that it had been rearended causing the trunk pan/rear subframe to from the body.

Everything on the car was done by me with exception of the interior stitch work.

Currently I am running a CPP front end and leaf sprung rearend, 383 with a 700r4 and the factory 10 bolt with chromoly axles and posi. These are going to be the focus of my phase 2 build.

I still am not happy with the way the car drives and am looking to go to a full suspension system as well as I am in the process of building a LS stroker and a new more capable 700r4.

What I need though is a project name which is where you guys come in! Name: image.jpeg

Big thanks to the guys at Pro Torque for getting me my new converter so fast! I have to admit that I almost went with a different brand but Pro Torques customer service was some of the best I have ever dealt with.

Well I haven't been super active on this forum recently but I took the car out today and got a few new pics I wanted to share.

I also just put an order in for a TCI Engineering pro tour front end and Wilwood disc brakes so be watching for those pics to start popping up... it's going to be hard to have the car torn apart for awhile but I can't wait to ditch the CPP front end!

If your not following me on Instagram make sure to check out the progress on there as well, I'm a lot better about posting on there. @modernchevyperformance

Beautiful Nova! As someone who has one, you will like the TCI front end. Though mine is in a Camaro. You planning to autocross or track it?

The closest track or autocross to me is about 4 and a half hours away, so while i do plan on making it to some of there events it won't be very often.

It's a custom mix that I came up with... it started as 05 Chevy cobalt blue the I played with it until I got the color that I wanted.

A pallet full of happiness! The new tci front clip! I'm actually installing the Pro Tour clip but there was a shipping mistake and they sent me the older subframe... on that note the guys at TCI Engineering were super fast at getting the problem resolved!

Moabs car was this last weekend and while I love having the car out for it all I could think about is how ready I am for a change...
I decided to take a couple photos of it with all four on the ground before I strip it down because it's going to be awhile before the tire hits the road again!
