69 Camaro DSE Stage II kit Issues

I installed the stage II DSE kit on the OEM subframe of my 69 Camaro. This kit involves relocating the mounting points of the upper control arm. When setting my ride height I ran into issues with not being able to get the front of the car to sit low enough. I actually replaced the kit springs (10" 550#) with some QA1 springs (9" 550#) which allowed me to get the ride height where I wanted it. It is very difficult to adjust this kit since the shock body is located within the OEM spring pocket and just a pain to turn the adjustment nut.

Regardless, I am having issues with suspension travel. I barely have 0.250" clearance between the lower a-arm bump stop and the frame bump stop. Between this and minimal shock travel it is causing my front end to bottom out when I merely hit a bump in the road. I need help figuring out how I can maintain the current ride height but obtain suspension travel.

I was thinking about installing some 2" drop spindles which would allow me to adjust the shocks and get suspension travel back. However, I believe installing these spindles would result in my outer tie rod ends hitting my wheels (18x8) as the current clearance is only about 1.5".

I have been looking at the ridetech products and was wondering if I could use their Tru Turn system to accomplish what I am wanting to do? I was wondering if I would run into camber issues using their taller spindles with the relocated upper control arms I installed? I read some things that hinted at potential issues with too much negative camber. I honestly don't know if this is true or not.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!!

You're bottoming out because, at the minimum, you need stiffer springs. You took away an inch/10% of the spring length but did not increase the spring rate by an equal amount. Call DSE and have them guide you through a solution.
