      Paint on the 64

The guys at Studio Auto Body in Burbank hit my '64 with a fresh coat of paint today. Looks great, thought that I would share.

      Very nice.

Just don't put a "Raider Nation" sticker in the back window.

The motor is a zz383 that I will have on the drag strip as soon as I can get some wheels other then the 55mph space saver spares that are on the car right now. As far as suspension I am running Hotrods to Hell truckarm on the rear and a little something special that we wipped up on the front.

For a transmission I have a good old TH-350 that was built by Darryl Young if I remember the name correctly. And I am running a TCS converter.

The brakes on the front are race car pieces and on the rear I am running wilwood 4 pistons with the internal drum parking brake.

I will try to get some more pictures up.

They still have to wet sand and rub the car out, but that will not happen for another week and I just could not wait to share.

Looks great Geoff. Will you separate the two colors with a pinstripe or graphic?

Took me a long time to find a real SS, but I did. The trim will break the two colors. I am just waiting on the clips.

Here are some shots of the brake setup on the car. Something a little different then what you see on most.
