      G-MAchine

Hello, Im new to this site, and its great!
I have a question and wish to get some ideas or opinions
if at all posible. I have a 67 rs camaro and im thinking of buying a
G-Machine package from Performance Suspension Comp. and Im trying
to get the best handling and performance for the money, because im on
a budget. The package has a poly. front end rebuild kit, front and rear kyb shocks, front and rear sway bars and front and rear drop springs. What do
yall think of this set up? Thanks for all the help, opinions, or ideas.

Hi, welcome to the site. Post up in the "Welcome to our forum" section and introduce yourself!

I don't have any specific knowledge of the PSC setup - but it sounds like a step in the right direction. The big questions would likely be what spring rates do they use (and how much of a drop), how big are the sway bars, and how good are the shocks.

And is it an SBC or BBC?
I don't like poly, neither do a lot of people here. If you can't afford aftermarket control arms do the guldstrand mod and use Global West's Del-A-Lum (or similar) Upper and lower bushings. If you like the package concept go for the Hotchkis TVS.
Read through many of the threads here in the suspension forum. They offer a plethora of info on steering boxes, Racks, control arms, etc. Having a 1st gen F body puts you in the most versatile category for aftermarket parts.
Second: DO BRAKES. I live the motto that you need 2 parts "whoa!" for each part "GO!". In other words, build a chassis with safety in mind first then make it FAST!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?
