      Tire size stagger

For best suspension performance, What do you think the max front to rear tire width stagger should be limited to?

      Tire size stagger

This has been talked about many times.
You'll want to focus more on the suspension geometry first, and go from there. Some vehicles that have a lot of scrub and/or bad Ackerman will not benefit from a wider front tire, for instance.

There are guys that run 235's all around on their Chevy II cars and out handle guys with 295's all around.. So the ideal tire size will depend on the car- weight, suspension, etc.

Tell us what kind of car you have, suspension, weight/balance, horsepower, and we can try to help a little closer.

We run 275/335 on many applications and it works well on our suspensions.
Many times if you're not too ridiculous on the stagger (335 rear 215 front for instance) then the difference will be small. That's again why I said focus on optimizing the suspension.

      Tire size stagger

thx for the info, we run a 67 firebird. around 3300 lbs. 500hp, t56. stock subframe, tube arms, qa1 coil overs. out in the rear we have a custom made triangulated 4 link with qa1 coil overs. sway bars front and rear. nothing too stiff. right now we have 305 35 18 and 255 35 18. seems to work okay but like always.... we are always looking for more peromance.
