      No more BFG Rivals?

I'm only seeing listings for the Rival S on the Tire Rack website. The standard Rival only seems to be listed in a few sizes, way less then used to be available. Are they not making the Rival, only the Rival S?

      I'm needing 315/30/18.

I believe the S is the new version & replaced the rival.

I will ask. I do believe they do and will be making both.

Sorry to add on to this thread. I know many of you have run both the Rival and the Rival S's. If both are actually available what would you consider the Pro's & Con's of the two? I have an almost worn out set of KDW's that have served well during setup and learning my suspension.

My personal use this year will be sprinkled with auto-x and hopefully track days to learn the car better and improve my skills.

No problem at all. I'm in the same boat and have the same questions and concerns. Also curios if one wears better than the other? How would the Falken fit into this mix?

Hoping there's not too many downsides to the Rival S vs Rival or Falken. I ordered my wheels this week and Forgeline is mounting a set of Rival S tires before they ship. Still a ways off before they get here but I'm still excited.

I wonder what criteria is used to decide the following for tires at USCA. The Rivals seem to always be in short supply.

"Tires must be in sufficient supply and commercially available to the general public. Any tire not commercially available to the general public, or only available in prohibitively limited supply may be disqualified and the entry moved to the exhibition class."

I'm not sure where the line is, but the did make a ruling when DSE and another car showed up with the Rival S before it was available to everyone else. I think it's going to be at no prototypes and no pre-production tires. Hopefully BFG will notice the popularity of the Rivals and will increase production.
