A friend knocked these out for me and were placed on either side of rear spring buckets and on the 90 degree supports on tubing to the boxed portion of frame.

A bit more welding to complete and then spend some time with wire wheeler/flap disc. POR frame and get the body put back on. Energy Suspension urethane mounts with new hardware. Would really like to do a bit more work with plumbing/exhaust before body goes on but need the space back in the garage.

Honestly have no clue why my pictures rotate when uploading from cell phone or iPad. If anyone has some tips it would be appreciated.

It's the operating system those devices use. Load the pics into your Windows based pc and use photo viewer to rotate them, then submit.

This summer also got the chance to call "BETSY" my own. I drove her out of the can to get the beaumont and thought it would be real nice to have the pair. Couldnt be happier with it becoming 4th owner of this beauty. Origional engine was rebuilt, 4 spd on the floor, FACTORY RADIO and headliner. Only took king pins and wheel cylinders to be "road worthy " .

The wedding pic is funny. Those covers look good. Do they fit over the top of the coil packs?

It slides over to cover the coil packs. Good quality to clean things up a bit for the time being

By the way, love the old truck. Were the covers fabricated or bought and if the latter, can you share who makes them?

Love the Blazer, I had a 72 that I converted to two wheel drive. Wish I had kept it, had nice original paint and no rust.

Funny you call it a boat, I always thought the A-body was a small car as a kid. Compared to the full size cars of their day they were small but looking at them now, they are pretty big! Wouldn't stop me from owning one, there's a 65 Tempest not far from me that I drive by occasionally to make sure it's still there but I have a Maverick to finish first.

One of these days, when life decided the time is right for me to stop lurking on these forums and have a project car of my own, the one I keep daydreaming about is the '66 Catalina.
A land yacht if there ever was one.
