help , trying to get motor started

help trying to get the motor started for the first time tonight . all electrical ok after cranking for 10 second intervals about 10 times still have no oil pressure. it is a new ls7 that in installed and i have all the other gauges working properly on the factory harness, it all does not seem to have oil pressure it is loud cranking and look in valve cover and no oil. thanks been working on this all week was hoping to have running by the weekend

Brand new crate engine?
Dry sump?
Have you verified the lines are hooked to the tank and pan correctly?
Did you ever have the pan off?
How long has it been sitting?

GM test runs the Ls7 before they leave their warehouse so something must have happened on your end.

it is a wet sump ls7 in a camaro . it was sitting for about 6 months for mark up into car, the motor was touched except for placement into car for driveshaft length. we did pull the oil pressure sensor and no oil will come out when cranking. not and electrical issue , just not making oil pressure thanks

I only bring this up because...well.. Are you sure there is oil in the pan?

Wet sump LS7 means it's not a crate engine. So who built it? The most common wet sump LS oil pressure issue is the O ring around the pickup tube.

The other thing that has happened to me personally is the area above the oil filter. If it has a flat plate over it rather than a "bubble" looking plate bolted to it, then that'll cause no oil pressure.

And as lance stated, check the oil lol.

Remove oil filter, remove spark plugs, disable coils and injectors.
Crank til it dumps oil on floor.
If oil pump needs to be primed you may be able to push oil backwards from the filter into the pump.
It is also possible that there is no pickup tube installed!
