      Hidden treasures......

Well the body shop started pulling my car apart this past week to view the damage caused by a guy backing into my car. once the battery was removed, fender, and the grill we discovered some serious rigging to the radiator core support. It was moved forward about 3 inches. We decided this has been done for many many years, as a result of probably a bad battery, rusting the tray and core support. Ordered a new core support, fender, grille, new springs, and new rear springs where the rear got torqued over 3 inches!! Just from a guy backing up with a Z-71!! hopefully with all this new parts everything will line up and fit properly. I have decided in April to have the whole car media blasted, POR 15 under where the vinyl top goes and all new chrome. It will be costly but I should have a show winning car when done, and the way I look at it all the money spent will only add value to the car!!

I wanna know where you are planning to put that dragster nose cone. Sorry to bring it up, but my son noticed it. Good Luck on your project, I should be great.

Dont you think it would look cool grafted on the front for true aerodynamics! A new definition for pro-dragster! truthfully it is at a shop that does restos and the guy has a dragster and just stuck it under there to get it out of the way.
