      Ridetech 4 link question...

Can someone explain to me the advantage of buying the kit with heims joints over the standard kit. Obviously, adjustability is greater, but this will be on a 67 Camaro street car that will most likely never see a track. Getting ready to purchase one, and thought I'd get some opinions first, thanks!!

In our standard kit, you get a fixed lower control arm (rubber/poly bushings) and and upper arms that have a heim joint on one end, to fine tune the pinion angle. The optional heim joint four link is built to where the upper and lower bars are double adjustable, with heim joints on each end. It's set up to allow more adjustability, so you can make sure everything is centered, and that you get everything set where you want it. Unless you really want/need the adjustability, the standard kit that comes with the poly and rubber bushings would be a better fit. The heim ends allow more noise transfer in the car due to the metal on metal mounting.
