Ridetech 4 Link or TCP g-Bar Suspension

I have a 1969 Mustang that I'm building, I have been looking at rear suspensions for a long time. I have narrowed it down to ridetech 4 link coil-over or TCP g-bar coil-over suspension. It will be a street car. If I go with ridetech would RQ shocks be a good choice.

From what I can tell both are very similar. I don't think you could go wrong with either of them.

Ridetech 4 Link or TCP g-Bar Suspension

The ridetech RQ's are a good choice if you're just driving it. I like using the HQ since they're not much additional cost, but if you don't plan on doing any autocross or anything competitively then the RQ will do the trick. Let me know if you'd like a quote on any ridetech components.

I have been looking at both kits for my Camaro. Both company's have a great product and both pop up on the forums to answer your questions. I'm picking ride tech for the fact they are closer and if I ever have a problem installing I could trailer the car down to get an answer.

      Hi CJ58,
TCP has been part of the Chassisworks family for about ten years now. The TCP g-Bar and the RideTech piece share many similarities. Where the TCP stands apart is the number of available options, the ability to fine tune, and component strength. It has larger, mandrel-bent tubing for the main cradle, big 1-5/8" lower control arms, billet steel upper arms, and all the bushings are larger for a softer ride and longer bushing life. The base system includes our "SS" Factory Valved coilover shocks. These have been fine tuned for street and performance driving, but not so aggressive that they beat you up. Mark Savitske was one of the people involved in their development. He knows a thing or two about suspension and we like him.

I won't go into all the nitty gritty details here as it can be pretty overwhelming. You can find a lot of info in the "Downloads" tab on the TCP Product Page Here. Or, if you want, feel free to give me a call. I'm about to walk out the door but will be back at my desk on Monday morning. I usually start answering my phone about 9 AM Pacific. Extension 247.

You can view photo albums of many Mustangs and Cougars that have g-Bar systems on the TCP Facebook Page By Clicking Here.

For example, this is Udo Fink's '67. He lives in Germany and built this car to take on the Nurburgring. As such, it has the upgraded g-Link options.

Here's how you install one. We have tech guys here 6 days a week to answer questions.
