      4L70E controller options

Hi, looking for opinions and experience on the controllers for the GM electronic controlled transmissions, I am using a LS3/480hp crate motor and 4L70E on my 68 camaro, I was thinking of the GMPP controller, but then just noticed new offerings from TCI, FAST, B&M, etc. One thing I liked on non-GM ones was the ability to make adjustments w/o a laptop. Anyone have experience or feedback on the aftermarket VS GM performance controller? thanks! Dan

I used a US Shift controller with a 4L80 (also compatible with your 4L70E) and it was ten times easier to modify than the GM controller. You can do it straight from the controller or connect a laptop. I did not really ever do it from the controller as it was much easier to just connect the USB cable. One table controls your shift firmness and shift points. It was very intuitive.

      Just my experience.

We also use US-Shift, and highly recommend them.

      Also we're a dealer
