Process in bagging a Task Force

First, off not sure if this should be on this thread or the truck one. Anyways I have lurked for a long time and may finally have found a truck. I have been searching but not clear with the total process. In a month or so I will find out if I get the chance to pick up a 1957 Chevy Task Force. It will be a slow build but wanted to get some of the research done and see what I can do first or at least set up an order. The ultimate plan is a 5.3 and bagging it.

My question is that I want to install an Accuair e-level set-up or even similar set-up, so do i have to hack my frame i.e. ifs and irs or just ifs?

I may have missed the threads but have searched around. I am not going to do anything major. Just a somewhat budget daily driver with 400 to 500hp.

You can put whatever you like in for suspension and bag it, yes a I.F.S would be your best bet. As for the rear a simple solid axle will work just fine if you don want to deal with the complexity of the I.R.S. Hacking the frame will of course depend on what set up you decide to go with and/or,budget

IFS is a must, and no more leafs out back. An IRS is your choice. We do most of these trucks with solid axles and 4-bar rears. Check our "Chassis Pack" systems to get a complete assembly of matched parts. www.nolimit.net As to 'Bag/shock' or 'shockwave' , the ridetech Shockwave is an easier install, and will handle a little better (mostly due to the shock internals). A bag/shock set up will offer more travel and a slightly smoother ride. - It is common for us to do a Shockwave in the front and a bag/shock in the rear.
