I like Venturas because you almost never see them. Is that one yours?

No, but the idea for the tail light came from those cars.

What backspacing were your front and rear wheels? Also were the rear tubs stock? I plan on running speedtech arms up front and a torque arm out back but not sure if I want to shell out the money to have someone else mini tub my car when I could use that for something else

I used a Ford bolt pattern wheel that was made for the newer 2005+ mustangs so everything was pretty much screwed up from the beginning. Those wheels had high BS. Originally the front had roughly 6.8" BS ( ET44) and the rear had roughly 6.9" BS ( ET36). With the adapter spacers the BS changed on the front to roughly 5.5" and 6" at the rear as far as I remember. It was tight with the 275 tires but it was with stock tubs and did not have any issue.

It was complicated and the front side did not work well. We tried and combined different suspension components together but I was not happy with the results mainly for the big loss of the turning radius. ridetech coil overs are awesome that was the best of everything I tried.
Finally I got a c6 corvette based full frame ( using ridetech coilovers of course) to solve all of the issues I tried to live with. No IRS yet. Will see how this works.

Finally I decided which way I go with the exterior.
We will make a modern version of a 70's Trans Am series road racing car.
The interior will follow the same.

Not so visible but the front and rear wheel wells were cut up a little bit to be able to lower as much as possible.

We can go a little more lower than this thanks to the wheel well cut up. Will be pretty close to the Corvette height.

The car looks awesome. It's gotta feel good having all that metal work done and out of the way.

It is a 69 factory GM color called burnished brown.
It was not popular at all that time.
However I think its one of the best looking color GM ever made.
I am glad I did not choose any modern color that I was thinking on before.
