      power steering pump mods

There is a bunch of info out there about increased road feel when swapping in a fast ratio steering box. I have a
79H/O that is about to get a replacement stock pump and standard steering box.
Would there be any valve mods in the pump that would give me a little heavier road feel with a non fast ratio set up?

Have the rebuilder put fast ratio gears and a stiffer torsion bar in your box. Fooling with the pump flow and pressure won't do much at all. Saginaw does it with the torsion rod which is at the top of the box where the rag joint connects.
67 Camaro RS that will be faster than anything Mary owns.
