First Accident - Kills Fuel Pump?

Had my first accident this weekend - and unfortunately - it was in my Camaro. No one hurt - thank the lord!

Driver rear quarter has seen better days.

Question I have is - I got it home and tried to start it - but would not turn over. fuel pump is not turning on - could the impact of the accident - cause the external fuel pump to stop running? It does not appear damaged nor does the wiring. Locate under the center of the car - in front on the rear axle housing - so no damage. I can hear the relay from the ECM clicking on - but no fuel pump noise. Just curious - if I should be looking at something else - before I order a new pump.

      Thanks!
