      67 Chevelle with 408 stroker

I picked up this Chevelle 1 year ago and have been enjoying it since. Recently the 283 motor has developed an annoying smoke so I decided to do a "budget swap". Scouring Craig's list I found a lq4 motor with 30k miles and pulled the trigger. One thing led to another and this build went from a budget swap to open up the pocket book. I decided to keep track of the costs and made a spread sheet for others to compare to. All prices reflect tax and shipping. I'll continue to update this list as I move along.

I'm still needing: Wiring, Radiator, Headers, Exhaust, Power Steering box to finish the motor and money...

For future parts I'm looking at using a 4l65e tranny, Moser 9" and air ride but I'm not 100% sure yet.

I'll post more photos but here's a few.

I'm using the - Canton 15-274 pan. Got the info from Brian Hoss over on Chevelle Tech.
