      1968 Cougar LED tail lights

Good afternoon everyone. I recently acquired a very nice 68 Cougar that is largely fully restored and mildly pro-toured. I'd like to make a few updates and one of the first is brighter, reliable tail lights and turn signals. Searches revealed some posts from the early days of LED conversions and a lot "still developing the kits" content.

Anyone have any advice on adding LEFs to a '68 cougar? Kits that are matured and complete would be great. I apologize in advance if I missed a reference and this has already been covered.

      Thanks!

Something like this might work out for you. Listed for Mustang fitment but the Shelby/California Specials had the long Cougar style lights.http://www.cjponyparts.com/sequentia...968/p/TLLED32/

I highly recommend the LED "plasma" bulbs sold by WCCC.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I ended up ordering a modern sequencer and bulbs, and will report back how they all work.
