Ridetech equipped 67 firebird front backspace

I have a 67 firebird with ridetech front suspension with tru turn. The ridetech site says up to a 10 inch wheel with 5.75 backspace but I'm wondering if I should go to a 9.5 to be safe. Looking for proven backspace/offset numbers.

      Thanks!

Ridetech equipped 67 firebird front backspace

I have a 68 Camaro with the same suspention. I went with a 18x9 5.75bs with a 265/35/18. I didn't have to cut up the fender to make it fit.

What brand tires & what size rear wheels/tires do u have? I have tubbed 67 Camaro, planning to go with 335x18 rear & I like ur suggestion of the 265 up front (18's also), I also have same Ride tech suspension, thank you!

I ended up going with a 9.5 front wheel with 275s. Haven't driven it yet but it appears to fit properly.
