      Return for ricks tank

I converted my 68 Camaro to efi, the tank I had for the carb was a ricks stainless tank. I used the vent port on the tank as my return port and added a vent line to the top of the fuel fill tube, this line is run out under the car via a 3/8" hose. I am having an issue of the engine losing all power once or twice while driving after it has run a good 30 minutes or more. I am either having a vapor lock issue due to having a return only off the corvette filter going to the wrong location or I am causing a vacuum due to the vent hose being to small. If I use the port that Ricks put in for the tank vent for that plus my other, where do I put the fuel return?
