Shaved Tires (Pair)- Front or Rear?

I have a set of Toyo Proxes RA1 tires in 225/50ZR15. Two of them have been shaved to 2/32 while the other two are not shaved at all, close to full tread depth. I have been wondering if I should run the shaved set on the steer axle or not? There are advantages to front or rear in my opinion so I have not be able to decide. I am running an open diff for now. I worry of cording the shaved tires if I run them up front but at the same time I see a steering benefit. I would like to shave the other pair but time and budget constrains me. A penny for some thoughts?

      ***These are autocross ONLY tires***

Front, all the weight is up there, so the tires are working harder, the shaved ones will have less tread squirm...

Makes sense. Thanks for responding! Let's see how this works out.
