Goodguys Indy Layout and Two event weekend

Since we will be running two events at Indy this year Goodguys decided to let the drivers have a layout like the finals in Scottsdale to practice on. The first event will start at 8am on Friday June 5th and run until Saturday June 6th at Noon. At that time we will have winners and someone will get the invite to the Finals in Scottsdale. The Second event will start Saturday at 1pm and run until Sunday at 1pm.

Here is the layout for the first event....Second event layout may change...

Two Winners in each class and Two Invites to Scottsdale. All winners and the Invite person must be there on Sunday for the Awards.

Who is going to have fun with Goodguys?

Could I recommend a minimum lane width of ten feet, the eight foot wide choke points in Nashville caused a lot of downtime on the coarse. Even nine feet is pretty tight in a corner when your car is seventeen feet long.

That course looks great, should be a lot of fun. Looking forward to a little more cone time! I do agree with Rob's comments on the track width, Nashville was a little tight.

X3 on track width. Del Mar was so skinny there was no "racing line" around the course, there was simply driving around the course between cones. I realize the constraints you guys are under on course design, but I preferred the previous two or three Del Mar tracks to this years because the previous tracks width allowed more than one way around the course. Just my $.02
