      Project Bad Company

Project Bad Company is a 1972 Pontiac LeMans 2 door "post". Building a 468 stroker for her with expected 550 HP at the crank and around 580 FT/LBS. Currently that is backed up by a TCI TH-400 automatic but next year will be replaced by a TKO 600. Further back she has a Quick Performance 9" rear end with Tru-Trac and disc brakes powered by a hydraulic brake booster from CPP. I recently installed some Dakota Digital VHX gauges that fit perfectly. In the future I can look forward to EFI, UMI Suspension, Kore3 Brakes, and new wheels/tires.

Stopped off at the shop to see my engine and car. The engine needs the accessories put on and dropped in and will be ready to enjoy.

Thanks, I just couldn't get myself to swap to an LS after I blew the previous build so I decided to bore it more and keep it stroked.

Thanks, it was red before. Had new thinking it was a Chevy engine for a minute till I looked at the casting codes.

Looks great and I hope you're leaving that sweet instrument panel!

What kind of clutch were you planning on running when you install the TKO600?

What instrument panel? Not sure at this time for the clutch. The kit comes with one but I kind of want to upgrade it.

After driving the car for a bit I'm in love. The car runs great, very strong. Next week be a UMI stage 3 handling kit.
