      ideal seating position?

I am looking for a thread that gives guidelines? on how to design the ideal sitting position [steering wheel, pedals etc.] . I am guessing that there are general guidelines or is it as simple as whats comfortable.? Anyone know a good online resource to read about these things?
      Thanks.

The only thing I'll add is that your knee should be slightly bent with the clutch pedal fully depressed.

Interdependent is the understatement of the year, everything has to fit up at the same time, but certain things are already decided.

If you are using factory pedals, that will determine seating position and that determines the column wheel position. Sometimes there is only one place for the seat to fit, left to right, so you adjust everything accordingly.
