      fan wiring question

Hey everyone I'm installing my ls1 style fans and had a member make me a quality style wiring setup..
All I need to wire up is a ground(which I'll mount near the fender), ign source and battery source..
I would like to wire these 2 on the fuse block however I have the msd box and radio connected to the BATT on the fuse and radio to the IGN source..
Should I add a inline fuse between the ign and batt wires on the fan harness?
Or should I just find somewhere else to hook them up to?
Also here's a pic of the wires to the fans. I'm going to use wire loom around them and also mount the relays where the I believe the voltage regulator is and move that over a bit

I'd use inline fuses and go directly from the battery, given it's proximity. You need 12g (30A) wires to supply the relay... you might not find that very easily.

Wait a sec....isn't there a sealed 40A inline fuse already coming from the relay bank?

it has the 3 relays(left of picture) and im sure their is a inline fuse wrapped in the built harness..

I just didn't know if its ok to add the batt and ign sources from the harness to my already crowded fuse block without adding a inline fuse between them

Oh OK. There should be (unless specified to NOT include via custom routing) a sealed 630-series fuse holder with a 40A rated fuse in it.

OK....lol I just wanted to make sure. I believe you got that harness from me awhile ago. iirc its an LT1/LS1 dual fan assembly correct? The main supply lead is 12ga as are the fan leads too. The harness kit is wired in series @ the relays to provide low and high speed operation via (2) GM style temp switches. If you have any technical questions you can always PM me here on the board too.
