      The little things

With the lower ride height comes some challenges, and the rear driver side truck arm appeared to contact the dry sump tank towards full travel. My engine builder gave me the go ahead to section 2.25" inches from the tank, without any concern for the lost capacity. (originally 5 - 5.5 gallons) Next I just need to clean it up and have it welded back together. Rear fender extensions got bolted up with some custom foam gaskets.

Up front I bolted up the radiator expansion tank and ran all associated lines. I had a problem finding a fitting to work for the suction side of the oil pump, so I had to die grind the Ernie Elliott engine plate and managed to get a -12 swivel to fit. Little things like this are taking most of the time in putting the car back together, but progress is slow and steady.
