57 Chevy Pick Up Front Suspension

Recently started a resto on a 57 Chevy Pick Up and although she's a great truck gee it could do with some work , fortunately I am a sheetmetal worker with my own business so that part is not a problem, one of the problems I have come across is the front suspension its like steering a shopping trolley , I am in Australia and parts a hard to come by , so I think the easiest way to get a better ride might be to remove the existing leaf springs , shockers and power steering and put in an after market kit, can anyone suggest a company that does a front end kit where I discuss what I need and then get it shipped to Oz ???

      Cheers Guys

57 Chevy Pick Up Front Suspension

Look at No Limit Engineering. I have put one of their front and rear ends under my sons 51 chevy truck. They are a sponsor here. You can get it air bagged or coilover.

Thanks Chris. Yes, we can help you out. We can even do RHD if you want that. Chassis packs are the way to go, they are complete packages with front and rear suspension, engine and trans mounts, and the power brake kit. Give us a call and talk with Tina, she can get you a shipping quote. 865-940-1503

Gday Chucka, im modifying a chevy front ifs to suit a little truck, what sort of results are you after? I am up against the same problems with parts here and getting engineer approval in Australia is hard with fabricated suspension parts.

Not sure about access to C4 vette parts, but I went by to check out the nerdrods setup and it is super nice and would be easy to ship unassembled. Matt

Scotts hot rods, no limit, progressive automotive (C4) based, porterbuilt, Roadster shop, DSE......

I have a Scotts frontend and 4 link for a project and am very happy with the quality and fitment.
