well I can forsure help out with getting some of those done for you. Fuel lines brake lines and tank we can bust out in half a day between the two of us. Pull motor and assemble will be a complete day. Ill leave the wiring up to you cause I hate wiring. Finish turbo kit depending on what needs to be done might be a day too but ya I don't mind helping out.

I just need to TIG the IC pipes up and plumb the wastegate. Also finish welding the V-bands to the headers, easy stuff. Engine just needs gaskets put on really and to set pushrod length.

I need to get the seam sealer down and paint the floor pans before I move on much further. I just need to get off my ass I guess lol

So its been a busy two weeks with the car looks like its time to update.

Last sunday was the last race for us here in Texas scca solo and it was a super fun event. Finished second in my class and managed to get second overall in points for the championship! Not too bad for entering the season half way thru...

After the race I brought the old gal over to the shop for her final ride b4 the heart transplant...

Motor came out quite easy and the build was on.

To keep my theme of the car going I had to paint everything black.

The goodies just keep rollin in as im now just waiting for my new torque converter to drop the new motor in the car. Its been an expensive two weeks but I didn't want to go very long without driving the car. As long as everything goes according to plan motor should be in the car next week and on to its final steps of wiring.

So its been a busy and expensive off season here in Dallas for me. So here are a few pictures of what all has been going on. Besides the 6.0 ls swap I decided to go with a new M9 rear end and center section from Moser as well as their 31 spline axels. Last season I was lucky enough to pick up a sponsorship from Wilwood and they send me a new kit for the rear, a master cylinder and brake pedal. New driveshaft and converter. And teamed up with Bilstein to create their first ever coil over race shock for a nova. Should be an exciting year of racing here in Dallas!

The car looks great, can't wait to see it with the new wheels! How were you running the TSW's? I know they are 5x120 and our bolt pattern is 5x120.65. Did you run spacers or did you just squeeze them on there?

The difference between the two patterns is .012 which is extremely minimal. The wheels went on perfectly centered with wiggle room to spear. No squeezing at all.

Here are a few pictures with the new BBS Wheels and Rival S tires. The gold still hasn't fully grown on me yet but the more I look at it I like them. I just don't want to give into the dark side and make them black...

Really terrific project. Just read through the entire post. I'm going down the same road hoping to get the car on the track to have as much fun as possible. The gold looks good.

Before the LS swap....unbelievable. I would have to cut half of my car off to get it below 3000 pounds. That's pretty cool.
