      1968 camaro console ANY IDEALS.

I have a pro touring 68 camaro, with a LS6 and 4L65e, looking to put a console in, I want to put in something different than a stock console.
      Any good ideals....
      Thanks , Andy

I put a 5th gen console on mine. I really like it a lot!

Here is one with a old style shifter. I can put you in contact with the guy if you want.

I bet it's cool, I don't have those skills, the 5th generation center console looks like me. My horseshoe shifter is what I'm leaning towards with the 5th gen center console.

I was going to use the 5th gen console, but it's too wide with my seats…kinda bummed about it, but I just can't make it work. I'll have to figure out another plan.

You can build a real nice inexpensive one out of cardboard ... just dont spill your drinks on it

Sweet, cardboard looks good. I have the scat procar seats going in.
      What options!
What about the center console from a 4th gen camaro? Anybody
      Thanks Andy Ls6

I have a 4th gen console in my '67 with the ProCar Rally's. It fits great, but comes up short of the dash. I had to build a closeout panel that houses my radio/nav for that area.

Here's a better idea. The first pic is just the 4th gen console, and the second pic is with the closeout panel I made:
