      Street Thunder Magazine

      Anyone else here join thier club? I did about a year ago and only got one issue. They did send a coffee table book but I sent it back unread.

      Are they still around?

      My new copy got here yesterday. (November/December)
      Has a slammed 61 Olds88 on the cover. COOOOLLLLLL! I love big cars....

      monday,got a really nice calender and a key chain,16.95 for the calender key chain is yours to keep.nice mag i enjoy it. :icon996:

      I'm not all that pleased with the "we'll send you x, send it back if you don't want to pay for it" - I destroyed the packaging for the calendar when I opened it, now I've got to come up with something to send it back in.

      Not to mention driving to the post office to send it back. That is the only drawback when you subscribe to Street Thunder, IMO, it's a big drawback.

      I'm a bit annoyed with that aspect of the club as well. But I learned from my mother (good ol' mom) that you can always just write "unsolicited material, return to sender" on the packaging and give it back to the postman (or drop it in a mailbox). At least that way you don't have to pay the damn return shipping. Besides, didn't they outlaw payment-required unsolicited materials?

      Yeah I am tired of paying to send back a book I never asked for. Return postage should be paided for if I didn't ask for the book.

      I agree...I had to send back a book...havent seen anything since tho.. no mgazine either come to think of it and I paid for the year?

      The return shipping is covered with an included label. I returned the book and kept the calendar but don't generally like unsolicited items.

      We really want you to be pleased with our Club and the magazine. If you're not, let us know and we'll make it better.

      You agreed to the additional mailings as part of the original membership agreement, so they aren't unsolicited. But, it's easy and quick if you want to opt out.
