      Hello everyone,

I guess one can say I stumbled across this site a few years ago when I first started to notice some PT camaros at local car shows, and was referred to lateral-g by some guys at a car show, and now I am here!

Some background, my name is Ian I am 21 and currently in college studying chemical engineering. I have always been a huge muscle car fan, since I grew up going to car shows with my dad and uncle (both of whom have had numerous project cars through the years). I recently found a great deal on a 69 Camaro from a member here named Jeff (63sw) and snapped it up.

Unfortunately being in school in Indiana (I live in the chicago suburbs) I don't really have the ability to work on the car during school, but this summer I will be back to work, which will give me all of the time in the world to work on the car and the money to do it =)

I still am trying to hash out my plans for the car, but for now I think I am going to keep it simple (sbc, disc brake conversion, etc.) and get it driving first and upgrade as I go along, as I don't want it to be sitting around for years.
I'm so glad I've found this site, as I've learned so much from reading other build threads and threads in the tech discussions, though I still have lots more to learn!

I know everyone loves pics, so here are some pics of the car:
If anyone was wondering, the frame hanging up is for my dad's current project, a 30' sedan, which I should get him to join this site b/c he has been going the PT direction with his model A (corvette IRS, tubular control arms & coilovers, disc brakes, etc.) w/o even knowing what PT is haha.

      Likewise!
I'll be posting a proper build thread when summer rolls around, since I'm out of school by May.
