      Sheet metal bender recommendations

I can get a good deal on a tennsmith 22 gauge box/pan brake. Is this heavy duty enough for general auto fabrication? Thanks

Typically you can cheat up one gauge so that gets you to 20 gauge. I very rarely use 20 gauge for anything. I would personally pass on it, it is an HVAC tool.

Just because it's an "hvac" tool does not mean you can't use it for automotive use... If you can get a great deal on it it's better than a harbor freight or other Chinese knock off.... We have nothing but roper Whitney pexto stuff which is some of the best....
