255/60-15

I am currently running 255/60-15 on all four corners. My kids bought me the set a few years ago mounted on 15x8 ralley's with 4.5 BS. My car is a 68 camaro, global west upper and lower arms, ride tech 4-link in the rear, coil overs all around. I have no issues with clearance up front or back. I know most people don't run 255's up front, I have been able to only because my inner fenders are on a shelf in the garage.


Here is my question, my car is at the body shop and ready for paint. I will be moving to 285/40-17 in a few years and need to decide now if the inner fenders are going back on the car. I know the 255,s will rub what I need to know is how bad will it be and where. Can I limit my turn arduous for the time being or should I just keep them on the shelf and put them on in a few years once I move to the 17's?


I know some has tried to run 255's up front just looking for some feedback.
