New guy from Alamo Ca, with 65 Fastback

Hey all, so I probably know a few of you guys from Lateral G, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to be on both forums. Just like to see what everyone is up to and what is going on. I have a build thread of my car on Lat G, which I can put up on here if enough of you are interested to see (not sure if that is frowned upon to post your build thread on multiple forums lol) Anyways this was a high school project that my dad and I started as a father & son project and I just ran with it..... probably a little more than he expected. I'll save the long-winded story for later, so I hope you all like what you see! Glad to be here!

      Nik

Day I got the car back in 2010

      Now present day

Please excuse the worn tires....bought the wheels with them like that and have replaced them!!

Sweet ride. Ride hight is perfect. See the big brake set up and the long tube headers. What do have for a power plant? 289?

Thanks man! And ya I have a 289 in it right now but I am planning on doing a 427w in the future. Have the 351 bare block sitting around on a stand.
