VERY NICE Buddy! that looks like a dark silver? I just found out I get to powder coat this phase at wyotech and all I have to pay for is materials. so Im probably gonna take a bunch of parts in to have done.

      looks good....keep us updated!

Are you in Laramie? If so, I feel for you (I hold a degree from Wyo-Tech) and hope you get out and into the industry soon.

      Buddy-
Looking good. You need to get that thing on a blanket, and off the floor so you don't scuff it up.

Actually, there is cardboard under it in those pics where it is touching the ground. You just can't see it. It's standing up in the corner of the garage now until I can pursue it further.

The whole shibang (sandblasting and coating) cost me $425. That was the subframe, (4) CA's, bumper braces, steering componants and spindles, motor mounts and tranny mount. Basically was $200 to spray the subframe, $100 to spray all the parts and $125 in sandblasting.

Congrats. Powdercoating looks awesome!! Had mine done almost 5 years ago. Always looks great and shiny without having to buff. With the colored powdercoating I am thinking now . . .

For all the Illinois people here , I would suguest taking a look into a shop called LO-KO. They do all sorts of coatings , especially powdercoating and cermaic.

They did a couple motorcycle frames for me , along with a set of custom headers for a old racecar project , and came out top notch.
