      69 Impala Sport Coupe Frame Off Rebuild

      So here's the start of my project I found it behind a barn 7 years ago and have been working away on it when time and money permits
      so far it with the chassis done
      Hotchkiss Sway Bar kit
      Hotchkiss Adjustable Panhard Bar
      Hotchkiss Dual Upper Adjustable and Lower Control Arms (rear)
      Global West Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms (front)
      CPP 2" Drop spindles
      Wilwood Calipers with cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors (front)
      CPP Calipers with park brake Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors (rear)
      CPP 2" Drop Springs


      Night I Bought It



      Chassis all torn down



      Painted and Started Reassembly




      Rear End 12bolt needs the internals Redone with a Posi setup before I consider it done







      Put body back on "Temporarily" 4 years ago




      Front Clip was sent away for work shortly after these pictures where taken
      Wish list for Body modifactions are
      Modern door handles
      90's lesabre mirrors
      Flush mounted front and rear windows
      Power sunroof

      worked on trying to get the 5.3L with 4l60e in and had no luck with the truck oil pan


      The way the engine sits to this day

      Has ARP main studs
      ARP connecting rod bolts
      Comp Cams Thmpr Cam
      GM performance Muscle Car oil pan
      CPP Engine mounts

      So the big decision that has to be made is what flush door handles are a good fit
      Another decision that has to be made is what sunroof to use I'm thinking about using one out of a 2000ish Buick century
      But any one with any experience in this input would be great appreciated

      Following with interest to see how yours turn out.

      You should have enough roof line for a power panoramic roof out of a newer car. Maybe a BMW or Mini frame?

      Hmm good idea I never looked into that just goggled a few pictures I think the mini is a bit over kill but I'm liking the BMW sunroof any ideas on door handles? I was kinda liking the new challenger door handles
