      Ls2 gas pedal

anyone know of a good place to get a gas pedal for an 06 LS2? Is there anything out there that has a pre fabbed mount to put it in a 68 firebird?

The pedal could be sourced from Speartech, PSI, or similar.

I believe Ironworks makes a bracket in which to mount the pedal that goes behind the brake bracket assembly.

Thanks for the help! I'm looking at an 06 GTO LS2/t56 tomorrow and it doesn't have the pedal and I just realized its a 24x and not a 58x. Any advice on if the 24x is any better/worse than a 58x?

I didnt realize the 06 GTO was 58x, i thought all the 06 LS2 engines were 58x. I know the 06 vettes were 58x. Now that I think about it I think the 06 trailblazer ss is 24x. I have run a couple 24x LS2 engines with the LS1 computer & cable driven TB. My tuner does not like the 24x DBW LS2 ECM. I am about to start on a 67 camaro that I will be running a 58x LS2 w drive by wire. This will be my first with the DBW. I have been happy so far with all my 24x motors. Either way I would not let the 24x stop you from picking up that 06 GTO. Scott

I figured you meant 24x here.

Here is a break down of the LS2 Application.

      2005 Corvette- 24x
      2006 Corvette- 58x
      2005-2006 GTO- 24x
      2005-2006 TBSS- 24x
      2005-2006 SSR- 24x

      Hope this helps!

I purchased my pedal from CBM Motorsports for my 2005 GTO LS2 in my 68 Firebird. I also went with Detroit Speed's mounting plate.
