New guy from Pcola Fl area.

Hello. I'm Ben. New to this site, but not to cars. I have a 71 Formula with an LS5. 455HO for the non-Pontiac people. Was an original 4 speed car. When I bought it...it was needing a new lease on life and I'm giving it to her. As you'll see in the pics....she's come along way, but she's not done. I'm deployed again, so she's just sitting there. The only things I'm had/having done for me was paint, body, seats recovered, shortblock, trans, and diff. Here's the run down.

      71 Formula
      99 Porsche Guards Red
      455HO
Short block built by Butler Performance
Roller cam spec'd by Butler Performance
      Fast EZ EFI
LT1 T56 built Aston Martin mainshaft, Viper Tail Housing
      Built 10 bolt 3.08's or 3.23's haven't decided
      LS1 front and rear brakes
Global West Upper and lower control arms, GW front and rear springs 1-1.25'' drop, All Del-a-lum bushings
      Koni adjustables
      Procar seats
Ram Air Exhaust manifolds, 2.5'' system to chambered mufflers
And the wheels.......I'm still looking. Lot's to choose from. Size is gonna be 17x9.5s

Z06. I'll do that. I'll be in town for about 2-3 weeks in June before I pcs. At that time the car is either gonna be put into storage for a few years or shipped to the next location based on the housin situation.

Hope you get a good follow-on. Our active duty guys from Keesler got sent all over the place. A few at Dyess, a few at DM, Minot and Asia. If my motor is running soon I may try to do that indoor show for the firefighters in FWB. Hope to see you there.

Bygblok. I'm in Honduras for a few more months. The listing for follow-on's wasn't that great. I'm only up for a stateside assignment. Should find out here in the next 2 weeks where I'm goin. Hopefully it's a good assignment next.

Nice looking car! (I might be biased) Sounds like a good plan for your build.
