Wrong file format for posting pix?

OK, so after setting up a Photobucket account and loading numerous pix to my blog via that method (as opposed to simply uploading the pix directly to the forum) I've run into a new issue: when I try to add a new picture (via Photobucket link) I am met with an error message that says I'm trying to upload the incorrect type of file. WTF? I hadn't added anything to my blog in a few weeks so last night I was playing catch up with my pix, added about 7 or 8, took a break and began another "reply" with more pix, but when I tried to add the second series of pix/links I got the error message.

I have no idea what may have changed between one "reply" and the next but my Photobucket account and the picture formats certainly didn't.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
