1960 Rear Springs Polyurethane Bushings Installation
Has anyone installed polyurethane bushings on the front eye of the rear springs in a 1960 Corvette. Seems the shoulders of the polys are larger than the rubber, which prevents the front eye pin from seating flush with the large diameter hole of the hanger. Do I need to trim the poly shoulder in order to seat the pin further or will it hold with the pin seated about halfway though the hanger large diameter hole? Thanks, John
