1969 Fastback Project- Pro Touring/Street/Race?

Figured I'd share my "restomod" project. It was a brutally rusted 69, and not much came back from the blaster. I want the car to be able to handle and stop like a more modern car, but I wanted it to have more of a drag race flavor. Kind of like a mix of pro touring and pro street.

The frame is 2x3 square tube steel, but it will have an integrated chrome moly roll cage that is almost entirely hidden, no door bars. Power will be from a 2012 "Boss 302" engine w/supercharger, running on e85. I've never had something like this, thought you guys might be interested, and might have some advice or learn something from this build.



The wheels are 17" Weld RTS, 12" wide on the back and 5" wide on the front. The tires are M&H drag radials, the biggest 17" ones I could find in the rear.

The frame will be cleaned up and angle cut on the front to dress it up a little. If you guys are interested I will keep the pics coming as the car progresses.
