Chevy High Performance - Dec '05 Issue

Anyone get their newest Chevy High Performance? If so, you might recognize this car on page 54 :icon_razz

Yes, I miss that car! They shot the feature during one of the stops on Power Tour this year.

Andrew, I'm still gathering parts for the next one. I won't tear it down until I have everything I need, since it is still drivable/enjoyable as-is.

Jake, you are probably seeing the Cal-Trac bar or the backside of a muffler.

Awesome, Tony! The car definitely deserves the ink. 10 sec PT. Doesn't get better than that.

That's wierd. The photos look way better here than they did in print. The copy I bought was very dark.

umm, the car was never lowered after I completed building it. You are probably mistaking it when it was 100% stock and just had the wheels bolted onto it when I got them.

For some reason, I thought it sat a little higher in the front.

      Car looks good!

Maybe you're thinking of the photo where he was pulling the front wheels at the drag strip?

Looks nice Tony! The Impala on the cover, contents page and pages 58-61 is one of my cars. Not bad, two of us from here in the same mag.

Both sweet rides, the new Camaro Owner must be loving that car. And that Impala 409 is rare and tastefully done.

Haha, yeah I'd say the front end sat up a lot higher sometimes:
