They seem pretty nice but seem to be quite a bit less money compared to some of the others I am looking at, that always makes me suspicious. I am looking for a radiator/fan/shroud/ combo. Griffin is coming in quite a bit under the other three companies I have talked with.

Does Ron still use epoxy in the assembly of his radiators?

I would be very surprised if that was still the case.

It came down to Ron Davis or Wizard Cooling. Both seem to build high quality all tig welded radiators with everything made in the USA. Leaning towards Ron right now but Wizard is still in the running.

The only down side is they dont have tabs/brackets for electric fans. At least the two I have used.

I've had a Griffin radiator in my 68 Camaro since 2001 and I've never had any issues. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if needed.

Call them. They have people that will actually talk to you. I have used them for years, great product, just not as pretty as some of the more high dollar radiators. Function and fit are great. If you are building for show you may want something with perfect welds, but if you want a radiator that will cool the car and save you some money, call them and talk to them. I like their customer service.

I've used BeCool, Griffin and Rodney Red. Never had an issue with either and wouldn't hesitate to use Griffin again.

This Griffin just showed up in the mail, cost was head and shoulders cheaper than other companies that I checked with. It doesn't have a plastic shroud with zip ties that IMO look cheap for the caliber of builds that most are using them for. FAns are a bit bigger than Id like but for Under $700 (LS version so it was a lot higher than a stock style) to my door, ill tell you in a few years how it holds up

Puta Griffin in my wife's 39 ford street rod after the Walker blew the top tank off. I ordered it with a/t and condensor mounted and tabs for an electric fan. The engine ran cooler than ever before. Quality product for the price. I will be putting one in my sons truck and my Elcamino.

We've used Griffin on all of our personal projects, which run the table of blown pro-street, street/strip, daily driver, & have had zero problems. We have also been a dealer for them since 2003 and have sold a lot of radiators with zero problems. They are made in the USA, and offer a great combo unit that comes with a custom built aluminum shroud and SPAL fans (pictured above). Very complete, and reasonably priced.
