CVF Racing pulley sets

Has anyone used CVF Racing pulley sets. Their prices are better than March, and they look good in the pictures. I have a Ford 427 stroker can I use a V-belt or should go to a serpentine conversion.

Remember that you get what you pay for. Generally companies like that use cheaper parts in their systems and that's why they are able to sell a kit cheaper than the bigger companies. Ask them what parts they use in their system. Most likely they use a lower quality water pump, power steering pump, AC compressor, Alternator and Balancer in their systems. I wouldn't cheap out on a harmonic balancer, use a quality piece like an ATI super damper, which I highly doubt CVF uses. It's up to you, but I would rather buy a quality system from a company I trust. Billet Specialties and Vintage Air both have very good systems and they are site sponsors also.

Lots of guys on Vintage Mustang have used CVF with great results. While most companies have a wide selection of GM stuff and little for Ford CVF has quite a bit of Ford product and different combo's.

Maybe its cheaper because it is a smaller company? They wouldn't have the staff or extras to pay for like March, Billet specialties or VA

I have the CVF crank and water pump pulleys on my SBF. I was really impressed with the quality of the machining for the price.

Customer service was outstanding also. They had accidentally sent me a crank pulley for a big block Ford - when I called them on it they admitted the error and immediately sent the right pulley - didn't even require I ship the wrong one back!

I think it's a very small company - very few people now but likely focused on growing the company. I'd buy from them again.

They make Pontiac stuff. If I buy aftermarket pulleys i'm buying their stuff. Iv'e heard nothing but good reviews, the price is unbeatable and they are made here in the US.

There stuff is good, March is just overpriced.
