      Gale Banks Camaro

I can't believe no one has posted any info about the Camaro Lefever is building over at Gale Banks. That car is amazing. Lefever's metal working abilities are unbelievable. I can't wait to see the finished product.

That camaro has been talked about for awhile around here. Hasn't been any updates for months. Word is that the project is stalled over at banks while they work on their road racing duramax trucks.

Car is in limbo and Lefever doesn't work for Banks anymore. There was a thread on it but it probably has been a year ago.

      Very very cool.
I dig the wooden bucks they made for the ductwork. Always wondered how that was done.

....and that spoiler........(wood)....I wonder if Banks would sell me the decklid and spoiler?

      Wheelbarrow....

You are so right Tony. I kicked myself in the rear a hundred times after I saw that. I looked for a couple of months to find something when I did my car and it probably stared me right in the face more than once. I keep wondering what brand it was since some of them are really different than others which is probably why I didn't see it. The one I have isn't anything like the one they used.

That car hasn't seen daylight in at least a year. Which is a real shame because it was very close to completion TWO years ago.

I look at the site once a month praying for an up-date. Last word I saw was the son who Lefever was helping build the car with "lost intrest". Do ya think Gale might consider adopting a 40 year old car guy? I totally dig the exhuast raised up and joined with the floor pan. So many cool things with that car, great now I'm drooling again, doooh

The same thing happened with LeFevers Mercedes TT Pro Mod. Great cars that never get done or see street/track time.

It happens to all of us I guess...even the best get caught up and stuck in stuff sometimes...

I'd sure like to see one of these great projects finished up tho..

That's the one! It's been to many shows- But I've never heard of it making a pass.

Amazing engineering and craftsmanship there..lots of ingenuity...but..

      ...does it work?
