      Spotted a New C6

I was cruising through the Marina (SF) after picking my Aunt up at the Airport and what do I see headed towards me????? Yep a brand new silver C6. All I have to say is DAMN they look GOOD! I thought the pics from the internet had looked ok, but to see one in person...very impressive.
      I just wish I had a camera.....

While my girlfriend and i were visiting the zoo in houston i talked her into hitting up dealerships on the way home and at a chevy house we saw an orange C6 (targa, or whatever they call they're hatch models) and all i can say is it does look very nice in person. This one was pretty much fully loaded and they said the first one they sold was identical except it was black, sold for 56k.

I saw a couple at woodward dream cruise and yes they are real nice in person. At first I thought it was a Ferrari until I saw the side of it. I really really like the new Vettes. Excellent body change. Here is the one I saw at woodward..

My buddy just wrecked his C6 with 190 miles on it. It wasn't his fault. He ordered it last year and is devastated.

Is it silver? There are pics of a silver C6 floating around the web, that was hit in the front. Not wrecked though, looks like it needs a fender and bumper, possibly some frame work, but the hit looks light. Then again I only saw one pic.

Bummer. There will be no part availabilty to get it fixed for months. maybe a year. I feel bad for him. Ive been through this before with a ford focus. (a week after they came out)

it sat for 7 months waiting on parts.

      Ralph,
Yes, it's the silver one. Those pictures are all over the web now.

      Tony,
You are right. No parts available for repair, so he ordered a new one.

What happened with the silver Vette? Was he rear ended by the Ford or did he run into that Dodge truck? That ford looks soooo close to the corvette that I would think he hit him in the rear.

That Dodge is a chevy. I liked the duct tape install of the clear tails. Makes them look better IMO. Also we should hope the Ford rearended the corvette or else its the corvette's fault for hitting the chevy unless he claims he didnt understand the clear tails on the chevy. Wonder if that would work?
