      Ousci 2014

Dear OUSCI participants, sponsors, staff, and fans,
I want to thank all of you for your participation and support this past weekend at the 7th annual OUSCI. Congratulations to all the competitors - your cars are the best on the planet and you passion is unequalled.
To our sponsors - we couldn't do it without you. Your commitment and investment makes it possible for all of us to live out our dreams.
The staff that makes these events go is second to none! You are the best crew in all of racing and your dedication to these events puts smiles on the faces of literally millions.
And to our volunteers - what can I say? Your enthusiasm is epic, and there are not enough thanks for everything that you do both out front and behind the scenes.
OUSCI 2014 was fun and exciting, but it was also a challenge. Thank you so much for all your kind words and patience, but we know it wasn't perfect. A new venue, a new format and double the number of cars is a lot to tackle in a single year. We are well aware of the issues that need to be resolved. We have lists upon lists of things that will be improved for OUSCI 2015. You all have my personal commitment that we will work hard to correct the issues that frustrated you this past weekend. We appreciate your feedback to let us know what we can do better.
At the same time, I hope everyone will recognize the huge accomplishments and improvements that have have come throughout the last seven years. Remember when there were only 27 cars in OUSCI and it was just a media event? Remember when we only had 20 transponders for 50 cars? How about when everyone got only three laps? We have a 13 episode TV series now - how about that!!
Sometimes growing is hard, but I think we're moving in the right direction. This is good for our industry and hobby and even though we know we have many improvements to make, we've come a long way!!
Thank you to everyone involved, there's nothing else I'd rather be doing and I appreciate my relationship with each and every one of you involved.

I hear that congrats to Danny Popp are in order for being the 2014 overall USCA Champion. Congrats Danny.

I am looking forward in competing in the USCA events next year. I hope the 2015 schedule can be posted as soon as possible so we can start planning for next year.

Is there any chance that the results can be posted to see how well everyone else did?

I agree. I thought it was pretty well run. Of course this was my first year, so I have nothing to compare it to.

And the fact they arranged for an Air Show right next door for those down times, was pretty awesome ;)
