Time for an update...Wife gave me fiberglass fenders as an early Xmas present so the Chevelle is starting to look like a car again. While shaving the passenger side drip rail found A TON of rust that was still hiding under the paint. Found someone had done a crap job of "fixing" it at some point in it's life by beating in the factory roof panel with a hammer, putting a piece of tin over it (without welding) and covered it in approximately 1/2" of bondo
. Anyways, got it cut out, ground clean, and new metal in it's place. With the fenders on it gives me MAJOR motivation to work harder on this thing!
